Mathematical Workshops

For a limited time only- £8 a workshop. Downloadable information sheets

Our mathematical workshops are a great way of empowering children. All sessions will be focused on fun and give them strategies to continue their learning at home. Workshops are available on a first come, first serve basis, and will run in blocks of four. Every child will receive a learning passport and resources to take home, either pre made, or children will make them during the session. To book, please email learninglegendz@yahoo.com. Prices are £10 a workshop,when booking a block of four or £15 for an one off session; once booked and confirmed, children will receive their learning legend welcome pack.

Cool Calculations 

(9th may: addition, 16th may: subtraction, 23rd may: multiplication, 7th June: division)

Monday 4-5.15(year three and year four)

Monday 5.15- 6.30 (year five and year six)

 

Terrific Times Tables (3rd May, 10th, 17th and 24th)

Tuesday 4-5.00 (beginner x2, x3, x5 and x10; as well as corresponding division facts)

Tuesday 5-6 (intermediate x4, x6  x9)

Tuesday 6-7( advanced x6, x7, x8 and x12)

There can be overlap within the groups, depending on the children’s ability.

Mathematics Mastery- Challenge Me!

extending thinking, exploring deep practice, and beginning to explore higher level concepts- year five and six confident and keen mathematicians. We will explore aspects of mathematics not covered in as much depth in the primary curriculum.

Thursday 5.00-6.00pm-(initial dates 4th May, 11th May, 18th May)

Igniting Writing

This is an excellent way of inspiring and motivating little writers; having a particularly positive impact on boys and children with  special needs. The worships will be planned around the interests of the children booked on the workshops but will always include a hook to ignite their imagination. A block of four sessions is recommended to truly see the impact. Ages 5-12

4.30-5.45 – Sunday evening (1st May, 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May)
